Timothy Cameron is a Toronto-based singer-songwriter. His musical style combines the rootsy honesty of folk music with the straight ahead no-nonsense delivery of punk, hence the label "folkpunk" which  has followed him around for the past few years. Although born in Toronto, Timothy has lived in many different parts of Canada, choosing to return to the city in his mid 20s. During his journey he discovered the music of Elvis Costello, Bob Dylan, Billy Bragg, Gordon Lightfoot and the Clash. In 2000 he independently released his first CD, Never Mind The Hyperbolics, which was well received on campus radio across the country, even managing to claw its way onto the charts at some stations. His new CD, Every Cloud Has A Sulphur Lining, is slated for release this summer.
